About Komal

Komal joined V&D in 2025 with a robust background in insurance defense as a former law clerk and corporate litigator. She brings extensive experience handling cases related to accidents, liability, and personal injury from the other side of the aisle. Komal brings a strong background as a former corporate litigator focusing on insurance defense. She received her J.D. from DePaul College of Law, where she gained hands-on experience as a law clerk at various firms, working on personal injury, criminal defense, workers’ compensation, and business litigation matters. She earned her B.S. in Political Science and B.A. in Criminal Justice & Criminology from Loyola University Chicago.   As a first-generation South Asian American in the legal field, Komal is dedicated to using her experience to help clients navigate legal challenges and bridge the gap for those without access to legal resources. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and embracing her love of food.
